Hi everyone!<\/font><\/p>\n

We had a great meeting last month at Build-A-Bear and around 30 bears were stuffed for orphans! <\/font><\/p>\n

Thanks to all for participating!<\/font><\/p>\n

This month we will be having a very special opportunity <\/strong><\/font>at our Adoption Fellowship Group Meeting!<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

Dr. Heidi Schwarzwald, one of the head medical doctors at the International Adoption Clinic at Texas Children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s <\/font><\/p>\n

Hospital will be coming to share with us\u00c2\u00a0and answer medical questions surrounding international adoption. <\/font><\/p>\n

Whether you have already adopted, are in the process of\u00c2\u00a0adopting internationally or you are in the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153thinking about it\u00e2\u20ac\u009d stage, <\/font><\/p>\n

this is a great opportunity to ask an expert\u00c2\u00a0any questions you might have regarding:<\/font><\/p>\n

1. planning medically for your adoption trip both for you and your family, including your new adopted little one.<\/font><\/p>\n

2. dealing with the medical issues that are common in various regions of the world and in orphanages (example: vaccinations needed for you and for your new little one, common diseases, minor ailments orphans deal with, developmental issues, etc\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6)<\/font><\/p>\n

3. understanding special needs adoption and what different diagnoses\u00c2\u00a0 require for treatment and the estimated costs involved.<\/font><\/p>\n

4. learning more about the services that Texas Children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Hospital has to offer to adoptive families before and after adoption.<\/font><\/p>\n
