After receiving our daughter’s biography translated from Chinese we’ve decided to call her Rebecca Catherine Jiayi Battle. We had originally chosen Li for a Chinese middle name. We discovered through her translated biography which we received today by e-mail that she responds to the name, “Jiayi”. “Yi” is her Chinese given name character. It means, “talented.” We thought it sounded beautiful when combined with Rebecca Catherine. <\/p>\n
