A Powerful Sunday Morning 9/2/07 at The Lord’s Glory Church! – Message by Pastor Tom Entitled: “Ending Strife”

This Sunday's serviceat 10:30AM is going to be an anointed and powerfulservice! This Sunday is Family Communion Sunday & the message this Sunday morning by Pastor Tom is entitled: " Ending Strife Come and learn important keys to keeping strife out of your life! You will leave this service strengthened and encouraged in your walk with God and better equipped in your relationship with Him and with others!

Also this Sunday, as the adults, 8-12 year olds, and teensare ministered to in our main sanctuary, here's what will be happening in our children's church!

The 0-3's and 4-7's will be learning from the Old Testament about King Joash and the rebuilding of God’s Temple. Continuing along the same theme as last week they will learn the importance of obeying God when He speaks to them, and letting Him teach and instruct them in His plans for their lives.

Don't forget as well to feel free to join us before the main service in the Bronkema Building for our discipleship class at 9:30AM called: " Commissioned With Power -a phenomenal course on the Gifts of the Spirit.

There is something awesome in store for your whole family at The Lord's Glory Church this Sunday morning!

Exciting Summer in Children’s Ministry

The children’s ministry at The Lord’s Glory Church is gearing up for a very exciting summer. Our caring teachers are poised and ready to teach your children from toddlers to tweenagers the Word of God. Our classes focus on the lives of Bible characters. Your child will learn that God will answer prayer today just as He did in Bible times. We emphasize how real Jesus is and how big God is in every circumstance that our children face.

Our 8 to 12 year olds will begin an exciting “Mission Explorers” series in June. These classes introduce the children to missionaries and the mission field through the eyes of an 11 year old girl. Your child will realize that God moves in India, Africa, South America and the Philippines to do great and mighty things. Our children need to have a vision for the world.

Fall Fun in the Children’s Ministry

There’s a hint of fall in the air! Glory to God! Our children’s ministry is focusing on the one who made our seasons…our heavenly Father….our Creator. In November, we will be moving into a study of Noah in the younger classes and Abraham, the father of faith, in our 8 to 12 year old group.

We believe that children are a very important part of God’s Kingdom.When they are taught the Word of God, they can be overcomers in the uncertain times we live in. In our classes, dedicated volunteers make learning about Jesus fun.Children are given the opportunity to ask Him to come into their hearts. We know thatone anointed word spoken in a class can make an eternal difference in a child’s life.
