The service this Sunday at The Lord’s Glory Church is going to be a phenomenal blessing! We are honored to have Jerry and Jana Lackey of Love Botswana Outreach Mission in Botswana, Africa ministering during our Sunday 10:30 AM service.
Jerry and Jana Lackey have been missionaries to Botswana since 1987. In 1990 they established their main center of operations in the village of Maun, Botswana. In 1997, the mission compound was completely destroyed by fire. The Lackey’s home, office, records, equipment and all their worldly possessions were gone. Instead of giving up though, their love for Jesus and for the people of Africa gave them the endurance they needed to press forward and rebuild. Because of the Lackey’s demonstrated commitment to and love for the people of Botswana, the local community and Botswana government responded in an incredible manner to the loss. The Tawana Land Board in Botswana granted LBOM a 22-acre parcel of land in Maun to begin the rebuilding process. So out of great tragedy, came great blessing and multiplication! What the enemy meant for evil, God turned around for good, and gave birth to a dream of building a comprehensive Launch Center that would become a base of operation for educational, spiritual, medical and humanitarian projects serving the entire central and southern regions of Africa. Back in 1997, The Lord’s Glory Church planted a seed toward this rebuilding process. This is a family who through the years has stood the test! Don’t let anything keep you from coming this Sunday!
